Working principle of water treatment

The water treatment system includes quartz sand, activated carbon filter, sodium ion exchanger, precision filter, reverse osmosis device or hollow ultrafiltration device, ozone generator, etc.

The equipment is generally made of SUS304 stainless steel and is equipped with a sealed container with a sand filter. Only untreated liquid is allowed to pass through the filter rod itself, and other parts are never allowed to pass, thereby achieving the purpose of filtering and clarification. It can be widely used in petroleum industry, pharmaceutical industry, wine industry, beverage industry, etc. It is an ideal equipment for preparing water.

The sodium ion exchanger is used to reduce the hardness of the water. The raw water is softened from top to bottom through the exchanger. The cations such as magnesium and calcium in the water are exchanged with the sodium ions of the water exchanger; the raw water is softened to contain very little Calcium, magnesium, and salt water (called soft water) can be used for boiler feed water and some industrial water. Since sodium ions have great solubility in water, they will not form hard scales inside the boiler and are easy to remove. The water entering the sodium ion exchanger should be clarified and filtered to basically contain no suspended matter. After being softened by the exchanger, the remaining hardness does not exceed 0.03 meq/liter.

The reverse osmosis device is a device that uses a semi-permeable membrane for desalination and purification under the action of a pressure difference. It is in the opposite direction of natural permeation, so it is called reverse osmosis, also known as reverse osmosis. According to the different osmotic pressure of various materials, a reverse osmosis method greater than the osmotic pressure can be used to achieve the purpose of separation, extraction, purification and concentration. Reverse osmosis can remove more than 97% of soluble salts and more than 99% of colloids, microorganisms, micro-materials and organics in water, making it a better equipment for modern pure water, high-purity water, and space water projects.

Hollow fiber ultrafiltration is a membrane separation technology widely used in the separation, concentration and purification of macromolecular substances. Ultrafiltration separation operates at room temperature and low pressure, without phase change, simple structure, convenient operation, and wide application.
